My dream, for as long as I can remember, has been to attend the Naval Academy in Annapolis MD.
I don't know when the dream first started, it just seems to have always been there.
I first verbalized this desire when I was 10 years old and, by chance, my dad captured it on video.
Since that day in 2009, my passion to attend the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis MD has grown deeper and deeper.
I have journeyed to the academy four times now, twice having spent a week at a time on base.
I have lived in the dorms, eaten in the mess hall and run the endurance course.
I have spoken with administrators, professors and coaches at the academy and I am confident that I know how much hard work and dedication is required to be successful at the academy.
My life journey has taken many twists and turns throughout my almost eighteen years, but one thing has stayed consistent; my desire to serve my country as an officer is the United States Navy and my desire to learn everything that I can from the esteemed staff of the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis MD.
